Pizza Express founder dies aged 89


Peter Boizot, founder of the restaurant chain Pizza Express, has died at his home in Peterborough aged 89.
Boizot opened the first Pizza Express restaurant in Soho, London, in 1965 and has been credited by many with revolutionizing the casual dining experience. The brand now has more than 500 restaurants worldwide.
